Patricia 'Patsy' M. Smith Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who
Patricia 'Patsy' M. Smith has attained several awards for her cooking flair

BROOKLYN, NY, September 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia 'Patsy' M. Smith, Founder of SchoolHouse Kitchen LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in food services.

As the founder of SchoolHouse Kitchen LLC, Ms. Smith specializes in all-natural food production, which means using only sugar, vinegar, and salt as preservatives -- leaving out the gums, emulsifiers, and fillers that can technically be labeled all-natural. Her responsibilities entail developing products and food dressing, sending out samples and raising funds. After starting out in the business by preparing mustard products, she decided to make it a full-time endeavor. She attributes her success to her product knowledge and quality work.

Ms. Smith graduated from Miss Hall's School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Smith College in 1959. She is an Emeritus Trustee of Miss Hall's School; on the Boards of the Cooperstown Chamber Music Festival and the Smithy-Pioneer Gallery; and sits on the Major Gifts Committee of the Friends of Bassett; and is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals. She has received numerous awards for her culinary accomplishments, including a gold medal for her Balsamic Vinaigrette Basico in the Napa Valley World-Wide Mustard Competition (2008, 2009), status as a NASFT Sofi Silver Medal Finalist for her Bardshar Chutney in the National Association for Specialty Food Trade (2008) and first place for her and SweetSmoothHot Mustard in America's Best Food Show (2007).

In 2004, she received the Barbara Humes Euston Distinguished Service Award from Miss Hall's School, and the Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year Award from the Western Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In 1997, Rotary International inaugurated the Jean Harris Award and presented it to Ms. Smith for her significant community service contributions and her efforts to promote the progress of women. In 1994 she was named the Chenango County Distinguished Citizen for her outstanding contribution to the betterment of the community and service to fellow citizens.
