For the last nine years, Ms. Higgins Lane has owned a McDonald's franchise; she manages company operations and works toward improving the restaurant's cash flow, which she has already been successful in doubling. She is skilled in management, personnel development and training, and is proud to have seen one of her managers receive an award for his service.

In 1992, Ms. Higgins Lane received a certification in accounting. She has been honored with a Manager of the Year Award and has afforded her facility with a Restaurant of the Year Award.
