Lorene Manteufel Recognized for Excellence in Food and Beverage Services
Lorie Manteufel began cultivating her organization skills at the age of 10 years old
KING, WI, November 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lorie Manteufel, Food Service Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in food and beverage services.
With more than two decades of professional experience, Ms. Manteufel possesses expertise in organization and a strong background in the food service industry. She is a food service manager for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. Her responsibilities in this role include ensuring that the cooks know their tasks for the day, ordering supplies, accepting deliveries, going to meetings and preparing a schedule for the following day. Ms. Manteufel has served in this capacity for the past 15 years.
A 1974 graduate of Waupaca High School, Ms. Manteufel began cultivating her organization skills at the age of 10, when she was entrusted to run her household and care for her siblings. She started in the food industry as a waitress at the age of 15. She attributes her success to her first employer, who taught her the importance of hard work. Aside from work, Ms. Manteufel is an avid bowler; she served as the president of her local bowling association for a decade. She also received a plaque for participating in 25 years of national bowling tournaments.
