Festivals of Speed to host an exclusive Wine Connoisseurs' Dinner & Louis XIII de Remy Martin tasting experience to benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

ORLANDO, FL, July 24, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On Saturday, October 8, 2011 Festivals of Speed will host an exclusive Wine Connoisseurs' Dinner & Louis XIII de Remy Martin tasting experience during the 6th Annual Festivals of Speed at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. This culinary event is to be held at the nationally known, Primo restaurant on the beautiful Grande Lakes property, which will be closed to all but Festivals of Speed guests for this very special evening.

Primo, by award winning Chef Melissa Kelly, is the signature restaurant at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. Chef Kelly, 1999 recipient of the James Beard Foundation Award, creates dishes with her "home-grown" concept in mind, emphasizing the freshest local ingredients such as citrus and seafood to create imaginative and dazzling recipes. To ensure this concept, there is an organic garden outside Primo supporting the natural ingredients, vegetables and herbs used in Chef Kelly's cooking.

As the evening begins, guests are greeted with handcrafted, signature cocktails served alongside a display of luxury lifestyle including fine jewels, watches, a life and silent auction to benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and more. Once everyone is seated, a multi-course meal will be served with each dish paired to a specially chosen wine. The wine selection will be varied, and each vintage will be introduced by an expert wine connoisseur. As the meal comes to a conclusion, guests will complete the reception with a fine cigar served under the stars on the elegant terrace.

Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to partake in a Louis XIII de Remy Martin "A Century in a Bottle" tasting led by a distinguished Remy Martin brand ambassador. These privileged guests will be escorted to the terrace for a step by step journey that is unique to Louis XIII and its noble history. Each guest will be served this very special cognac in a crystal glass.
