Mark A. Perry celebrates 30 years in culinary arts


SCRANTON, PA, July 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark A. Perry, Executive Chef at The Colannade of Posh Life LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in catering services.

With 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Perry utilizes his expertise in American regional cuisine to serve as an executive chef. In this position, he plans menus, manages food preparation and presentation, advises, holds banquets and plans private events. He has diversified culinary experience working in hotels, restaurants, bakeries and in the healthcare field, and he attributes his success to his perseverance and dedication.

Mr. Perry received his Master's Degree in Food Service Management from Michigan State University (1998) and his Bachelor of Music from Youngstown State University (1993). He also completed coursework at The Culinary Institute of America (1974). He is a member of the American Culinary Federation and in the coming years, he intends to obtain a certification in culinary art, venture into teaching.
