With 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Sencich attributes her success to her mother, who was an intelligent and strong-willed lab technician at St. Joe's for 40 years. She instilled a good work ethic in her. Her responsibilities at Meijer include preparing fruits, vegetables and salads, and ensuring that everything remains to the highest standard of cleanliness. She started her career with Meijer when she was only 15-years-old in customer service and quickly went into other departments learning more and more about the company. She also worked as an assistant manager at a Starbucks.

Ms. Sencich participated in coursework in phlebotomy and communications at Lansing Community College and Oakland Community College. She holds a certification, which she received through the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
