AsiaRooms.com - Enjoy Tasty Malaysian Treats at Kuala Lumpur's Ramadan Bazaar
Ramadan Bazaars will be set up across Malaysia next month to celebrate the religious occasion.
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, July 08, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Travellers who are keen to sample a spot of local cuisine during their stay at Kuala Lumpur hotels can check out the Ramadan Bazaar, which will be coming to the city next month.
In order to celebrate the religious festival, cities throughout Malaysia set up markets which offer a huge variety of local foods.
Kuala Lumpur is no different and will be holding its Ramadan Bazaar from August 11th until September 9th 2010 at a number of locations in the capital.
A total of 7,290 stalls will be set up across the city to mark the month-long event, in which visitors will be able to sample a range of tasty delicacies, including lepat pisang, jala emas and putu mayam.
The Malaysian tourism board particularly recommends trying bubur lambuk, which is a special type of porridge, but it claimed that people who visit the Bazaar will find they are overwhelmed by choice.
"One wants to buy everything," the body commented on its official blog, Malaysia Footsteps. "It is such a great temptation with so [many] wonderful foods."
With visitors expected to flock to the city to celebrate Ramadan and visit the Bazaar, AsiaRooms is advising would-be travellers to book their Kuala Lumpur hotels now to avoid disappointment.
AsiaRooms.com recommends a variety of Kuala Lumpur hotels, including Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
