Airdale Pint Nights with a Purpose
Airdale Brewing Company begins an educational series designed to make people informed consumers and get them excited about local craft beer


SAN DIEGO, CA, January 09, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- San Diego beer consumers have a vast selection of local craft beer available to them, as well as a wealth of beer knowledge in the brewers who make these brews. Airdale Brewing Company of San Diego County is trying to spread the word about the qualities and nuances of good craft beer. "Airdale Brewing wants to contribute more than just good beer to our community, we want to educate our customers about good beer in the hopes that people will be able to make a more informed decision on what they drink in the future," says Tony Clarke, President of Airdale Brewing Company.

In 2009, Airdale Brewing will be offering a series of "pint night" events focused on introducing beer consumers to their unique products, and offering insight into the process of making craft beer. Brewmaster David Lusk will be leading this effort, as he is the mastermind behind Airdale's product line and has been brewing in southern California for over a decade. Starting January 21st, 2009 Airdale will be working in cooperation with The Local Eatery & Drinking Hole in downtown San Diego to get the word out. "The Local is a great place to learn about quality beer," says Lusk, referring to the wide selection of craft beers available here. People will be able to try Airdale's entire lineup of beers, including their newly released "Dark & Stormy" Imperial Stout.

The pint night events will take a free form approach. Patrons will be able to arrive and participate anytime throughout the evening. Airdale beer will be on tap all night and the brewers will be mingling, answering questions, and talking in detail about each beer. "A good craft beer has the versatility and depth to engage your taste buds and your mind." Clarke says.
